Life Bits (part II)

Okay...I remember some more things I like to say...

--I got my first bill from the accident that I HAVE TO PAY!! turns out I own the hospital $300 because that part of the bill is not covered by insurance. Something about the fact I went to a NON-CONTRACT hospital when they rushed me to the ER. Well...if I knew, in my painstricten state, I would have chosen another hospital!!

--paid over $40 on gas the other day. I am officially sad :(

--sorry for lack of posts. just been busy / not busy / lazy.

--went to a club on friday nite with some friends. not my usual crew, but some other ppl I knew. it was actually kinda boring. I felt like I didn't belong there at all...

--celebrated linh, jenn and angela's bday party on saturday. not only did I bring the best presents, provide the entertainment, cooked my mac and cheese (from scratch), take pictures, but I also provided all the music (iPod rocks!). i had a great time...check out the pictures here:

--if you are a cute female DJ and you are walking around in crutches at a club, YOU WILL GET FREE DRINKS FROM EVERYONE!! Its a fact!

--slight controversy. I had to removed some pictures of that night, and it really pissed me off. Not because I had to remove them, more because I was told I should have went "thru her" before I posted. WTF? Censoreship sucks...

--started a new routine where I worked out in the morning now. Now I wake up around 7:30am, go to the gym and then come home for breakfast before I go to work. This frees up my evenings to do what I want to do, but its sometimes hard to get up in the morning...

--bought my plane tix to see Denny graduate in May. Here's the weird part. I had a discount coupon from United from my unused Hawaii return tix. Get this, I had to PHYSICALLY DRIVE to the airport and buy my tix there. I couldn't use it online or on the phone! Crazy, no?

--i had more things I wanted to say but I forgot...oh well...

That is how much I paid for gas today. (and yes, in US Dollars for my Canadian friends)

Wow. I remember a time when I was complaining that I was paying $30 for a tank of gas!! And that was only a couple of months ago.

And I also remember a time when I can fill my tank for like $12 somewhere in Orange County when I first got my car.

Fuckin' TSX and its need for Preminum gas... :(

Openning Day

Today was Mariners Openning Day. I had tickets for it. But I ended up not going.

Basically, I had access to many tickets and asked if anyone wanted to go. Very few ppl actually responded (which shows you how confident the fans think of the team this year) but Jen B. asked for 2 tix to go. So I bought her's and some for myself.

Anyways, when I went to see her to give her the tix and collect my money, she didn't realized that the game was on a MONDAY AFTERNOON!! DUH!! I guess ppl dont read their emails carefully anymore.

Anyways, I ended up also having the duty to get rid of all my tickets (her's too) by selling them during a doctor's appointment I had (lucky!).

So, no baseball for me today.

Instead, its 9pm and I am still at work. Last night, Sunday, I was at work from noon to 11pm....

So, what else is new?

NOW, That's More Like It!

Last week, I bitched about how my nights and weekend have been wasted because no one wanted to go out and do anything. This week, a totally different story (though, I still had to come in to work on Sunday :( ). My week was totally occupied with things to do, where I even had to cancel a few events (including seeing Sin City :( )
That IS more like it!

Wednesday: Bowling for the first time since my accident. Used a lighter ball and didn't really push myself too much...but still bet everyone in the game with a score of 149. I rule!

Thursday: Suprise bday party for Tom at some fancy fish restaurant. Were treated to a fiery desert show, where they set our tables a blaze, literally...

Friday: Surprise party for Ben at Triple Door. Tired but I showed up, but not too social. Just talked all night with Karen...

Saturday: Taxes in the morning. Slept in the rest of the day. Crashed a BBQ at someguys house, ate his food, left a hour later. Then went to another house party at Jen's who I got to hang out with her awesome friends again. I had such a blast there, playing poker and just generally joking around. I really needed that...

Sunday: here at work...no idea when I can leave :(

Did You Know?

Its been raining a lot here? More than one I am use to since moving here.

Not only that, because of the late surge of precipation here, some of the ski resorts around Washington, that have been closed all year, are now openned for this weekend, in April, with record snow! Crazy, no?

I guess no more crazier than a Snowstorm in Toronto in April...
