"Hooray for Uneventful Lives..."
So, I started work this week...only working after lunch and working til about 7pm~8pm or until someone calls me for dinner.
Its nice to go back to work. I went to my first meeting and I actually got some work done too. Other than that, that's it...it feels good to have my boring life back :)
Today, I am not going into work at all. I have a physical therapy session and will take the day off to do it. Yeah for part-time-ness!
Last Minutes Surprise Trips
Okay...I take that back about "Uneventful Lives"...since this New Years started, I have been going to a lot of these last minute events and trips that are usually totally out of the blue and a really nice pleasant surprise.
Take this past week. Not only did I get to go to a number of nice friendly poker games, I got to hang out with a lot of Denny's relatives from Seattle and Vancouver to celebrate his Aunt Doris' bday. It was great to see them all since the wedding in Hawaii and they really were glad to see me running about. And it was just fun to see Kallen and Avery again too...so damn cute those two kids are.
Of course, I had some major last minute trips as well, which include that trip to Vancouver I did with Justin when he was there. Did you know, we only decided to go, shower and find a hotel within 1 hour before we started driving up?
And, oh...that extra week stay in Hawaii...well, that was one kinda last minute as well :P
This week, it was a last minute request that I go to Whistler this weekend. As of right now, I may not be going but still, I was prepared and ready to go like 2 days ago, just to drive up and hang out (since I can't snowboard).
Next week, I have another surprise weekend trip which is kinda major and only planned since the beginning of this month. But I will talk abou that one later...
Second Hawaii Album!!
OMG!! Another Album from Hawaii! This time, its the wedding album. Check it out here:

HAPPY "EVERYONE IS ATTACHED BUT ME" DAY!!!
The Return of the iNfo.Man (part time, anyways...)
Today, Monday Feb 14th, will mark the first day I go back to work since Xmas Eve of last year. This is great for 2 reasons...one, I was originally supposed to go back to work at the beginning of March but because I was recovering faster than expected, I am starting sooner...and two, I really want to go back to work because I am going a little stir crazy staying at home or trying to find something to do during the day.
But I am only allowed to go back on a part time basis, where I am coming in only after lunch and a day or so off during the week for physical therapy. So, I will be taking it VERY EASY I guess, though I think I can definately do more.
Of course, I have absolutely NO CLUE what I will be working on next at work, especially with my part time schedule. I guess I will know in a couple of hours...
Also, after my long period of "free time" that I had for my injuries, I FINALLY posted my FIRST HAWAII photo album!! Yeah yeah...I am that lazy...and YES...FIRST ALBUM. I took so many pictures and took a whole bunch of pictures from Jon and Songco (i have about 800 pics) that I need to divide my Hawaii trip to 3 separate albums. Heres the first, entitled "Hawaii 2K4":

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEARS!!
and to everyone else:
HAPPY MARDI GRAS / ASH WEDNESDAY / LENT THINGY!!
Clubbin' with a Broken Back
For some strange reason, I ended going clubbing and dancing this Saturday. Yeah, i was surprised too that I could club...
Funny thing was a friend of my asked me to go to Element, a nightclub here in Seattle, in which I turned down because I knew I couldn't dance with my broken back. Instead, I decided to hang out with Linh and go to some birthday party at some lounge for some guy I only met like twice (and STILL I DONT KNOW HIS NAME!!). Anyways, this lounged turned out to be this underground ol' school, b-boy hip hop nightclub called Neumo's, in which we took over the WHOLE UPSTAIRS VIP LOUNGE area for the party. It was awesome just to be up there!!
Anyways...long story short...I guess my back was capable of dancing after they started playing Biggie Small's "Juicy"....
"It was all a dream...
I use to read Word Up magazine..."
I had an awesome time!

Out and About
So, on Friday, after just starting to drive my car the day before, went to one of my first social events on my own this year, which was an annual Lunar New Years Banquet with some of my friends and some others. I did meet some fasinating people and it was good for other to see me since the last year.
Later that night, a bunch of us went to this extremely affordable (yet old school) Karaoke Box in the University of Washington area, where I did my stirling rendition of "I'll be There" in my high pitched voice...
Later I had a bleeding nose. I think its a sign that I stop singing like a little girl...oh, at least my back lasted all that night (didn't get home til 3am).
It feels good to start having my life again...

Bills, Bills, Bills...
So, I have recieved like 3 bills recently in the mail which relates to illness last month. And they are quite shockers. Let me break them down...
--$950
This first bill was from Maui Memorial Hospital (where I stayed) and it was the bill for the emergency service they provided me when I first came in from the 911 call and ambalance trip. This bill is STRICTLY for the first hour I was in the hospital, before I even got a room. Because, they didn't have my insurance information at that time, this is an actually bill in which I need to contact my insurance to pay for...
--$17,000
Yes, you read right. This was the actually hospital bill for my week stay at the hosital. Isn't it just INSANE?!! I am SOOOOOOO GLAD i have really good insurance that will pay for it all. Its just amazing how expensive health care is in America...
--$221
This is my cell phone bill for last month. And its that huge because I was constantly on the phone with ppl during peak hours. In fact, this was because I went over my minutes about 300 minutes (I have only 300 minutes plus unlimited nights/weekend). And this is one bill I HAVE TO PAY :( Really can't argue this one ...
So, how am I doing? Better...much better....
I had my next appointment with my spine specialists and she gave me the okay to start physical therapy and even start work on Feb 14th on a part time basis (probably come in after lunch).
I got a sexy new brace which is lighter and very lacey and I can wear under my clothes. And because its lighter, I can also drive my car (if only around the east side).
Justin, who was staying with me the last week, showed me a really good time while he was here. I mean, besides driving me around and helping me do errands, he also took me out and let me have a life. I mean, we went out with bunch of girls to play pool, we hanged out at bars and even went to a couple of house parties. But the best thing we did was we actually drove up to Vancouver Sunday/Sunday to just hang out, do some shopping and see my friend Andrea who was in town. Not bad for a crippled guy, eh?
Thx Justin for taking care of me...
