Day 10 of Hell: E3 Build
It is near midnite. We are trying to finish a build for E3. Been working long hours up to this point, at an average of 10am to midnight, most nights and coming in on the weekend too. Yes I have no life now. I am very tired and going to get stressed. Damn you E3 build! Why wont you finish!!?
But I have been trying to have fun. Went to this awesome party on saturday night. I danced all night too. And with girls too! Happy times.
But this week will be worst. Already, I think I am going to miss my friend's birthday party on Friday. *sigh*
Now I am waiting for the ROM to build. After that, I have to test it. After that, I have to send it. Then I get to go home. It will probably be around 2am. Damn.
Welcome to the game industry....

Sad Time
Sorry for the lack of updates, even with the "highlights" of the Whistler trip. I just dont feel up to writing anything. I am kinda depressed now. Work has gotten me down, but in reality, its really something in my personal life. Basically, it come down to the fact that someone has stopped talking to me and I really dont know why. I have done all I can do, now I can only wait. Dont cha hate it when someone does that? *sigh*
I will be better soon.
Meanwhile...
Happy Times
I have updated my online photo albums with 2 new albums. They are:
Christine's Bday Night
Whistler 2K3
Sorry...no witty comments yet, but the Whistler photo album should more than make up for my missing "highlights".
Special thx to Vivek for providing 1/2 of my pictures of the Whistler album.
Enjoy

Ghost Story
The following post is a true story that happened to my last saturday nite while I was sleepy. Though I was "sleeping", I was still quite awake when it happened to me and really doubt that I dreamt this all up. For those who dont like ghost stories, please dont read any further. This is not a joke in what happened to me...
So, its Saturday nite/Sunday morning about between 2-2:30 am (3-3am if you already moved the clocks forward) when I am asleep in my bed. But in actual fact, I was not really asleep, more like half asleep, ready to fall into deep sleep at anytime.
All of a sudden I get a phone call on my cell. While still completely lying in bed, I move only my arm towards my ear to answer my cell that was in my hand. When I picked up, I get a voice of a female breathing into the phone.
2 important fact I started to realized when I answered that phone:
1) That woman's breathing caused my heart to beat really quickly.
2) How was it that I had my cell in my hand when it rang while I was sleeping.
As soon as I realize this, that cell phone mysteriously disappeared out of my hand and I "woke" up a bit. No longer was I half asleep, but awake...NOT super awake...just enought that I know that I am still lying on my bed and not asleep, though I keep my eyes closed.
About a couple minutes later, all of a sudden, I felt this INCREDIBLE RUSH of energy flow thru my body. This energy seem to have come from the floors, go thru my bed and then through me, before I can feel it hover above me. Though I dont think my body was paralized or anything, I didn't want to move a muscle. I was very calm but I think I was was going to freak out. I also didn't want to open my eyes, even though I felt I could, because I didn't want to see what was above me. I think what I was expecting to see would truely freak me out.
The energy that hovered above me must have been there for at least a good 10 seconds. And then it went back thru me. This time I can really feel it go thru me. Its really hard to explain how it feel but it was like a very intense tighting sensation all over my body. It seem to have last longer than when it came thru me, because it was started to feel a little bit of pain as it went thru. The best way to describe it was it was like a train passing by shaking everything, except there was no sounds and nothing in the room was shaking except you. And then it was gone.
I was definately awake when it went thru the second time and finally passed. Though I didn't want to open my eyes yet. Maybe because I was too scared but I also started to hear someone breathing next to me. In about 5 minutes, I finally openned my eyes. Of course there was nothing. Everything looked normal. I could hear the wind outside, but more importantly, I can hear my neighbours downstairs moving around. Were they awoken by the same thing that woke me? Hmmmm....
Of course, I could have dreamt this all? I personally dont think I did because it felt incredibly real. So much so, I was afraid to even look in the mirrors because I thought my hair may have turned all white or something. Yeah...it was that intense.

Lack of Updates
My only excuse is I have been busy all last week (working from 10am to 1am everyday!) and then when that was all over, I have been exhausted all this week. In fact, I took 2 days off this week because I really needed. Actually, I only really took one day off...the 2nd day I needed off because I needed to drive to Vancouver to renew my new passport. Which brings me to my second post...
The Quest for a New Passport!
Tuesday, April 1
04:00--wake up and get ready to drive to Vancouver
05:00--start drive to Vancouver
07:30--arrive in Downtown Vancouver
07:45--arrive in Passport office. Already a line up to get in. Started to wait in line.
08:30--after waiting in line and then just waiting, my turn to talk to actually person who will process my forms. Tells me I need to get some of my forms notarized first.
09:00--start looking for Notary Public. Call friend up.
10:00--walked towards Chinatown (boy its changed) and get everything notarized.
10:30--back at Passport office. Waiting.
10:45--everything is in order. Need to wait to see if all my references are reachable and legit.
11:30--EVERYTHING APPROVED! Passport ready for pick up.
12:00--Got new passport. Boy...that was fast!
The rest of the day I spent just hangin in Downtown Vancouver and Richmond. By mid afternoon, I was just EXHAUSTED and thought of going home. And then I got 2 calls from two really old friends that I haven't seen since I left Vancouver. So, that evening, I got to hang out with old Digipen classmate Andrew Laing and family and I got to hang out with Danny's cousin Yvonne. I didn't leave Vancouver til 11pm and didn't get home til 1:30am. It was a long day.
PS: I would like to thank my friend Monica for giving me every secret information about the Canadian Passport offices and my friend Christine for hooking me up with a Notary Public in Vancity! You girls rock!
