G4 Rocks!
Got cable TV last nite. Spent most of the nite watching the MTV Video Music Awards but I was also checking out the G4TV channel. Basically, this is that 24hr all video game channel I heard about but never had. Now I do. All they show is shows on video games. Nothing but video games (with the odd "Girls Gone Wild" infomercial). They had this really bad show in which they did sports like commentary during really horrible Unreal Tournament games, hosted by Wil Weaton!! I spent a good part of the night watching a show in which all they showed was the FMV/CG sequences of video games!! I fuckin' love this channel. I knew there's a reason why I moved here!
So, between watching the VMAs and G4, I stayed up watching TV here til 3am (that's cuz I was at work til 11pm!). No wonder I am so tired.

Guess who's back online....
...at home, that is.
Yesterday, I got a cable modem installed at my new place. I am finally back on the online world! WOOOHOOO! So now I can finally get my online life back together. I can now be reached!
Last nite was great. I was like talking to 5 ppl at once and on the phone too!
Last nite I was able to finally update my photo album. Check them out. I have updated the following:
--My Goodbye album is updated with 2 last pictures from my final nites in SD
--My NEW Roadtrip album with all my wacky pics of the drive up (and with proper title comments)
I hopefully will add more pics to the roadtrip ablum from Andrea's camera and I will try to add meaningful titles/comments for all those other pictures I just uploaded before I left...and I will try to write up something that explains what the hell I did the last 4 weeks, but it seems kinda pointless now...oh well.

My Sign
Did anyone see the movie Signs? (I did, but have yet to put up my review...sorry)
Basically, yesterday, I was driving around looking for apartments in Redmond/Bellevue, when I blew out BOTH my right tires on my car (I was trying to avoid an idiotic girl trying to cross the street). Because of this, I had to call upon my friend Sheldon to drive me around and help me complete my apartment search.
Anyways, one of the places we went to was his apartment complex in which I really wasn't going to look there, but he convinced me to do so. To my surprise, I found an AWESOME one bedroom apartment there for an unbelievable price. Even Sheldon was blown away how cool and cheap this place was. It didn't take too much convincing for me to snatch this place up.
Afterwards, we were driving around when I mention to Sheldon that I was also looking for a bed for my new place. He took me to this Sleep Country USA place and just would luck would have it, there was this AWESOME deal on this Queen size mattress in which was perfect for me.
So, even though I blew out my tires on my car, if I haven't so, I would have never have called up Sheldon and I would have never have been to his apartment complex and I would have never found that mattress! Just like in that movies Signs!
As a side note, even though the rent of my new place is incredible low, to find that place, it still cost me around $160 to have my tires replaced. A small price to pay?...

Greetings from Starbuck Country!
Yes, I am in Seattle now.
Just wanted to say hi to y'all and tell you that I have made it safely in Seattle. It was one incredible stay in SF and one fantastic roadtrip up to Seattle. We drove most of the way up on the coast and it was such a beautiful drive. We stopped at some great beaches and redwood forests.
And once I arrived here, I even got to check out Seattle before I started work. Its so far has been great.
And I have some wonderful photos to prove it. When I get a chance I will upload them.
Special thx to my girl, Andrea, who drove up with me across the West Coast and putting up with my bad driving, singing in the car and other stuff. I had an incredible time with ya (especially bikini and underwear shopping) and can't wait to see you again. Vegas, anyone?
Sorry, I would write more but my only access to the internet is at work and I can't be doing that at work too much. But dont worry, I will write a lot about this trip when I can.
Til then....

Major Photo Album Update!
So, I recently broke down and decided to give Fotki.com its money in order for me to add more photos to my albums...and adding photos is what I did. Sorry...no time to add proper titles but I will do that eventually.
Check out new photos from Comic Con added to my Adventures in Volunteering album.
Check out the new albums: Friends 2, more zany pics of my friends and The Long Weekend Good Bye, a pictorial of all I did this past weekend to say good bye to all my friends here in SD....
And you can read all about it below:
The Long Weekend Goodbye (Part I)
Okay, I am REALLY sorry, but I can't write this yet. its really late and I have to pack up my computer for moving, so it may be awhile before I attempt to tell the world what I did...I will try when I am in San Fran.
Good Bye for Now
Since I am moving this Thursday, its time to pack up my computer. This means, I wont be online for awhile and wont be able to update my blog and such, not until at least I start work the following Thursday...and even that may be a little early....
So, I will have to say my goodbyes for you guys for awhile....
In case you are wondering what my plan for the next couple of days, here it is:
Thursday--drive to SF and attend Winamp 3 Launch party with open bar and Wild on E! filming
Friday--recover from last nite's party and pick up Andrea from the airport. Party Friday nite.
Saturday--recover from Friday, do touristy stuff in afternoon, party at nite!
Sunday--recover from Saturday, say goodbye to my SF crew, start drive to Portland with Andrea.
Monday--get to Seattle!
Tuesday--hang out and get lost in Seattle with Andrea. Then have Andrea tell me she never wants to see me again.
Wednesday--drive Andrea to airport and then meet friend Monica who is visiting Vancouver and drove down to see me! Hang out and get lost in Seattle.
Thursday--START WORK!!
Should be fun.

Sorry for the lack of updates...
This last weekend has been one of the funnest, incredible, busiest, emotional weekends I have ever had...so much to talk about...so little time...
I will write something tonite...I have to because, after tonite, I am packing up my computer so I wont have full access to the internet for awhile...
Til then, lets talk about:
The Huge Cost of Moving
Alright...I am slowly going broke! I am running out of money. Who knew moving and the days leading up to it would cost so much. Lets run down some of the major expenses I have or will have to endured:
Going to the Dentist for Root Canal and Crown: reaching $800
Moving Truck: approx. $1500
Missed Car Loan Payment: $250
Auto Insurance payment: $160
Unnecessary Computer Parts Purchase: $250
Fix Car for Road Trip: $400
A Really Cool Toy from Comic Con: $100
Six Flags Magic Mountain: $50
Last Month's Rent: $250
Next Month's Rent plus Deposit: $1000 +
Driving up to SF and then Seattle:?
Spending the Weekend with Jon and Denny in SF: $$$+
This is all I can think of...going broke...slowly.
Funny thing is, I actually budgeted to survive, with ALL these expenses till my first pay cheque at the end of this month. So, I will be fine til then. BUT, I dont know how I will survive the next month, since I wont get paid next until the end of the NEXT MONTH! (my new company pays once a month).
Eeek!

Moving, Dim Sum, Museums and Geekfest 2002!
--had to wake up early this morning to wait for a moving company to show up and do an estimate on moving my shit. She gave me a quote of close to $1600 bucks! That's too much...I think we can do better than that...I will hear another opinion tomorrow.
--went to Dim Sum with my friend Jing Jing. Even though there was only 2 of us, we ate a lot. I love hanging out with girls who can eat as much as I do (too bad I can maintain my weight like they can :( )
--then headed down to Balboa Park to do some museum walking. Actually, we only went to one, dued to time, and check out wonderful exhibits on Africa Art and Toys from around the world.
--around 5 o clock, I needed to head to Downtown SD to go to Comic Con to pick up my passes. This was the first time I have ever driven down to downtown ALONE or even with other ppl EVER. Man, I hate driving downtown!
--I didn't think the actually convention was open today, but there was a special preview nite, so I got to check the Comic Con early.
--man, there are soooo many geeks at this place! Take the worst geeks from E3, and mulitply them by 10, and you got Comic Con.
--also saw a lot of stuff that I wanted to buy but shouldn't cuz I am trying to move and save money. Oh, the temptation...
--got to check out Giant Robot, Gameskins.com and Penny-Arcade. Also got to see all the new Transformers and Stikfas figures,
--will be back tomorrow 1/2 day and all day Friday to help out SDAFF. Should be fun with some of us dressing up (especially the woman).
